Let's Start the Conversation
I wanted to start this blog because I need to clarify in my own mind the events leading up to 2012. I can see many changes coming and some are disturbing. Most however are thrilling and I want to make sure I am personally prepared for them. I believe that you too would like to understand more about what is currently happening in the world and what we need to pay attention to. The events leading up to the 2012 transformation…will be coming at us in an ever increasing rate. As a community of bright individuals who are able to objectively search for these occurrences, we can sort out the fringe and common place ideas giving each our attention and seeing through the lunacy and group think that taints them. Your contribution to the conversation on the pages is vital. Sometimes the smallest comment or observation elevates the dialog, sparking new thoughts and actions which will take us to that next plateau.
Your suggestions on the direction and content of the site would be most useful; I want this to eventually become a source of hope and inspiration for those people looking for ways to cope with the coming changes. I see the site taking on a life of its own as the days and months pass. Again your input is vital for this to be achieved.
I know that the Doom and Gloom seers have a loud voice at the moment; hopefully the voice of calm and reason can be heard in the din. I envision this site taking the high road allowing others to see what can be, not just what is scary at the moment. That we can see a future that will be different but sane, just and free from fear. There are many charlatans in the world who will say anything to get attention and create confusion. I welcome these people to the conversation, so that we can ask those hard intelligent questions that need to be asked. If someone needs to elevate their status in this way, who are we to stop them. All that we can do as “a community of bright individuals” is sort through the rubbish and find the gems.
My wife Penny and I are working on a personal mission to simplify and downsize our lives. Soon we will be starting our podcast series which will be available for free on Itunes and on these pages. We will tell you all about our successes and failures in this attempt. Hopefully there will be more successes than failures but then failures will teach us a lot. Maybe you will benefit from these and your own transitions will be easier. I hope that you enjoy your time with us and comment often to keep us on the right track. Trust me Penny and I get easily sidetracked.

I think that the year 2012 will come and go without incident.Of course,I could be wrong.Maybe it will happen,and maybe not.

Maybe your right. Y2K was a total non event too but you have to to remember though , the potential for huge disruptions was there. No one new for sure that anything would happen but large companies spent millions of dollars to prepare. I am not saying anyone should spend lots of money to get ready for 2012 I just think it is wise to keep an open mind and make some personal preparations, what those are, are up to you. My goal is to share the information I gather so that readers can make there own wise decisions.
