A Magician in Our Midst

Recently I have been trying to understand my discomfort with the coming of 2012 and what is meant by the Mayan Prophecies of the end times. I talked about the 2012 prophecies and 2012 end of the world predictions and the fact I pay little credence to the "doomsday" prophecies of global destruction. What I do see happening and very real is a convergence of many seemingly unrelated events. Since a lot of things seem to be coming to a head at the same time I feel a real sense of urgency to prepare and get ready for… Well, ready for what? Since, like so many of you, I'm not sure. I am working hard to sort the truth from the fiction.

The U.S. is; as we all know, going through some tough times internally and the list is long. From outside our borders we have to deal with terrorism, escalated unrest on our southern border, the emergence of China as an economic force, wars and unrest constantly in the Middle East. Dealing with the nuclear threats of Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, India, and of course China and the former Soviet Union are stretching the economy of the US even thinner. Because we have troops in between 110 and 130 countries around the world; we have become the world's police force and have been since the 1950's. This is just what's happening in America, never mind the global perspective. With all that is happening, I believe we have reached the limit of our ability to pay attention. I know I have.

Have you ever watched a slight of hand expert work his magic? He will get you to look at one hand while he manipulates an object like cards or coins with the other hand. You can try to be so observant and smart and he will still fool you. It doesn't mean you are not intelligent. He has trained, planned and studied human nature and you haven't got a chance to catch him. It's a harmless entertaining show and called mis-direction. What isn't harmless and entertaining is the mis-direction happening now within our beloved USA. There is so much happening on the world and U.S. political stage that it's impossible the follow it all.

Right now our leaders are playing magic tricks with us and we don't even know it. The sad truth is that this really plays into a greater plan. Now we have to deal with a path of suppression through the "trusted" news providers. What we are given is being filtered and watered down. In other words we are not getting all the news. Americans are losing control of our government to big business and big business is losing control of their businesses to big government and we all will be crushed in the end. I am seeing information about plans by individuals and organizations to severely limit or even eliminate our freedoms given to us by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Most of these plans have a surface sheen of being good for us but we all know how easily these good intentions can be corrupted.

The combination of the global chaos and US chaos is what I believe will help to bring about the end of the world as we know it. This will not be because of a 3rd world war or nuclear annihilation. It will come about quietly and stealthily through the back doors of US and world politics. Through back room deals, while we are distracted by the daily chaos and fear. I could easily go off the deep end of conspiracy and paranoia and I work hard to keep my wits about me but with my eyes wide open! I implore you as readers to do the same. Open your minds and eyes - read, listen and take action become involved in saving and maintaining your freedoms. Try to imagine for one second, a United States of America that is not free? Our Constitution and Bill of Rights are being trampled and ignored in the stampede of greed, ignorance and self interest taking place by those in power! If America looses it's freedoms, what hope will the rest of the world have for gaining theirs? I know that most of the world now looks at the U.S. as totally immoral. On the other hand they also see the rights and freedoms we have. I believe they are just enraged to see how we waste and take for granted the freedoms they so dearly crave!

Don't be mis-directed. You only have to wake up! Wake up to the fact that there are people and groups in place and becoming very powerful who want to take your freedoms away! For… "your own good". They say it is for the good of all mankind, in reality no one will benefit from this except for a small minority of very powerful and wealthy people. We will just be easier to control.

We need to strive for a new world of increased enlightenment of who we are as human beings and bring about a kinder, gentler more just world. This will have to be created by the the public, and not by any government, church or organization. It will have to be a mutual awakening that is both a natural and viral movement. The desire and ability to awaken will spread organically through-out the world population. I have never agreed with an Isolationist Policy but some type of pull back from the all the chaos we have become involved in has to come about soon. We as human beings have to focus on our own individual needs and wants, taking care of them for ourselves and not depending on someone else to save us. Our whole existence as Americans has been based on individual freedom. Apathy is what will be the cause of our destruction not meteors, rogue comets, polar shifts, aliens, solar storms, climate change or any of the other myriad doomsday schemes. Our heads in the sand will be our demise. Quietly and without fanfare.

So, here is what I am going do. Starting next post we are going to prepare for a better life. We will discuss how the world might change and the effect that it will have on us. We will also tackle what we will do when that happens. One of the main topics will be to live a simple life in a complex world. To be prepared so well that we are secure in our own life and the path that it takes.

I don't know why certain information comes into our consciousness at the time that it does but it always happens when you need it to and start paying attention to your own magic. Might surprise you at what you have up your sleeve.
