Barter and Exchange part 2
This is part 2 of the recording we did on the way back to North Carolina From Ohio. It was a 7 hour trip so we were
able to record for a long time. We broke the podcast into 2 parts and you'll get a lot of good information from them. Though the quality of the Podcast is a little rough; due to road noise; it was fun for us to just talk. I love it when we can just roll ideas around. Bartering can be such a great means of exchange especially since the economy is so bad right now. I worry more about super inflation then Dennis does, my biggest concern is being able to get things done that take skills that we don't possess. So, I am really trying to hone the skills I do have so that I can barter for the skilled labor I need. In a future podcast we will talk about organizing the people in your network according to the talents and skills so you know who to call when the time arrives that you need help. First I think it's important that you start learning the art of bartering. Most of us understand what bartering is but we do little to fine tune it in our life. We get embarrassed or feel cheap or are just afraid to being it up, but truth is everyone is working for some reason. Granted some of the money is used for utilities and mortgages but there is a huge chunk used for repairs and other barterable skills. The challenge is to learn how to fine tune bartering in your life making it a skill set that you have. Trust me for every three nos you'll get 1 yes and 1 yes is all you need.
So make a list of the things you need, want or desire and let us know how you do. Let us know if we can help. Thanks for listening my friends.
